The Grey Snow Eagle House has several plans for expansion in the future.

Education Cages

The first addition is an additional mews on the mini flight to house our education birds.  This will allow us to open our quarantine cages back up in case we get a new bird in. It will also give our education birds a permanent home for training.  The remaining part of the cage will be used to house additional non-releasable eagles.  See below for a potential blue print of the project.

ICU/ Prep Room

The next goal is to raise the funds to build a free standing ICU room.  Currently, the ICU room is attached to the office.  This means that it is sometimes noisy and there is traffic through the area when birds are in ICU.  By having a free standing ICU room, we will be able to give our birds more professional care. We will also be able to move our food prep out of the main office and into this new building.  This way there will not be any eagle food or food preparations going on while visitors are here. The current ICU will be turned into offices for the staff and an additional bathroom for tours.

Paved Road

We will also be getting a paved road, parking lot, and new gate.  The parking lot will be landscaped with a bus turn around for school groups.  It will also have a curb to help with water flow.
