Substance Abuse
The Substance Abuse Program offers assistance to families and individuals who are dealing with problems associated with alcohol and/or drug abuse. The program offers education and counseling services.
The Goals of the Substance Abuse Program are to:
- Identify children, youth and families at risk or experiencing problems related to substance abuse
- Assist individuals in adopting and maintaining a chemical-free lifestyle
The Objectives of the Substance Abuse Program are to:
- Conduct interventions in the form of counseling and referrals for target individuals and families
- Reverse the rising incidence of maltreatment of children younger than age 18
- Decrease alcohol and drug use in families
