The mission of the Iowa Tribal Police Department is to uphold the constitutional sovereignty and customs of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma; to protect life and property; and to promote and preserve peace within Iowa Tribal country.

We will provide effective law enforcement, safe, humane, secure jail, and security for the Courts. Professionalism and ethics are essential to the creation of public trust. The individual employee contributes to that overall mission by performing duties within integrity, fairness and timeliness, and by displaying high moral and ethical conduct, always remembering to provide quality service.

We actively foster a safe enviroment by maintaining a high state of readiness, and cultivating community partnerships.
