Library & Online Educational Resource
The Iowa Tribe library, founded in 1985, has collected all types of materials
and resources, including video and music, relating to Indian subjects. In addition,
the library has started a special "Iowa Collection" of books, photos, and other
materials on the Iowa Tribe. Some of these materials are one of a kind. In addition,
the library has several computers for public use. The hours of operation for the
Library are 9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday.

It is the mission of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma to protect and enhance the health,
welfare, and quality of life of its members within a framework of traditional
cultural values and perpetuate and sustain our inherent sovereignty. It is the
responsibility of the staff members, particularly, the
historic preservation staff,
to see that our policies, programs, and services sustain these values. The
language, traditions, and cultural values are the back bone and foundation of our
being.
- To be entitled to use the Tribal Library you must have a library card. The card is free of charge and enables easy and free access to the materials and computer lab.
