Location & Directions
The Iowa Reservation lies on some 2465 acres of non-contiguous land in the
Cimarron River Valley of north-central Oklahoma. Reservation and allotted lands
are spread in checkerboard fashion across three Oklahoma counties. Tribal
headquarters are located four miles south of Perkins, Oklahoma on US 177. Perkins
is approximately nine miles south of Stillwater, Oklahoma via US 177, 50 miles
northeast of Oklahoma City via Interstate 44 and 60 miles west of Tulsa.
The tribal headquarters is actually a complex of seven buildings that house the
various tribal operations, departments, programs and tribal leadership
